Auto transport prices depend on many different factors.
Factors that affect the final cost of shipping
The vehicle make and model set the base price. Larger and heavier cars take more space and weight. Any modifications done to the vehicle, may additionally contribute to a higher price. For example, when your vehicle is lifted or has any type of spoilers, this means more space and weight. Whether your vehicle is running or not, this will certainly affect the price.
When shipping from any city other than the port cities on the west coast, you will have a choice between open and enclosed carrier. Keep in mind, the choice of carrier affects the price. Furthermore, distance and location also matter for the final cost. However, usually the decisive factor is the supply and demand fluctuation.
The number of trucks running your route affects the cost as well. This is an important factor our logistics team track daily. Our team tracks truck availability fluctuations daily and will quote current prices that will ship any vehicle in a timely manner.
